One of them looks like Ed Davey!
Actually this is Newton Way and the tenements are St Andrews St. Trowbridge St was the next block and you can just see part of it in the distance in the shot with the statue of Our Lady. Similarly you can only see the Bullring in the distance in one shot, together with the Gill St tenement block.
Great version

Lived on Anfield Rd 1960 - 1969. TBH this is how I think of it (b&w). Very nostalgic to see these pics which are like many we have in our family collections. Was on Priory Rd at Anfield Crem for funeral on Friday. St.Domingo Vale not Valley (not to nitpick).
Is that Rickie Tomlinson singing Dirty Old Town?

Which ones are Joe and Eddie Ankrah please? I'm assuming the one in middle and on the right looking at the video as they look alike but want to be sure. I've been doing a family tree for a while and discovered they are cousins of my son on his dad's side.
Wonderful🌟 Wonderful🌟 Wonderful🌟 liverpool⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘
i used to be a bus-conductor in Liverpool in the 60s. We used to wait with engine running for the ferry to arrive and the commuters to come up the gangplank, not running (that would be undignified) but definitely hurrying. Then I would give the bell and we would be away with a dozen or so city gents left fuming with silent rage and waving their brollies. Our daily fun, if we judged it right. Added spice to an otherwise boring shift. One up for the working classes!
I only found a couple of hours ago Terry Baccino passed away. R.I.P Terry Baccino.
Nice harmonysweet song
Rumours regarding Kevin Rowan's death are false, he's alive and well confirmed by his sister as of today.
He lives in Bournemouth, has done since the eighties, we all call him Dan, his brother Dave is a cracking bloke as well, he didn’t want the fame, hence why he never showed.
Our kid 🧒 is very cute and talented mashalla
I came up in the late 80's to stay at Barney Mee's parents house a few times. Alot of the houses where boarded up then but Flo didn't ever want to leave.
What an awful place
Where is pt 2 ?
Iam so proud to be a liverpudlian wouldn't live anywhere else
Powerful,that’s all powerful.the Boys.🔥👌🏾😎
Recently I've just listened to their full album, here on UA-cam and all of their songs are pretty well and I honestly, loved to hear their talent and the type of music set fro each song . One should really admire their work, more and more, at that particular age 12yrs to 14yrs mostly. They are all of my age, and although I was and still, a great fan for the 70's music, used to listen with much interest, the British top 20 every Saturday on my radio, but had never knew, about these 4 kids, until a year or so, when i am frequently searching for 70's hits, I used to hear in those days. I had never knew or heard about them, here in my country, and it came by surprise, to get to know that in my teen, there were such talented kids of my age. I recall for example, that at that period when the kids made this song, in May 76, there were popular songs in the British charts, like Music -- by John Miles, Arms of Mary -- Southerland Bros.,Silly love songs -- Paul Mc Carthney and many others, including a very nice soul music one but a cover version of a 60's . The 70's version was by far, much better. In other words, the media here was mainly focused on songs from bands and solos of the adult groups, rather than youths of my age. It is a real pity that they parted a year or so afterwards, and also to hear rumors that 2 of them died recently. If so God grant them eternal rest. Good old days never come back again !!
The rumours about Kevin Rowan's death are incorrect, he's alive and well , confirmed by his sister as of today.
@@arniezanzibar3739 Yes indeed Arnie and it is good to know that Rowan is still alive. I have recently confirmed this, since i was able to make friends on a commercial site with Terry Mc Crieth and confirmed to me this news, Unfortunately, Terry Baccino left us. I guess a year and a half ago probably. He has gone too soon and its very sad to hear this.. He should be a couple or so , months older than me. God grant him eternal peace. The embarrassing problem is that, Mc Creith has still not reply to my feed back and best regards i have sent to him, about a month ago. I cannot understand what had happened.! Thanks.
Is that JWL left of picture at 0.07 to 0.08 seconds?
Bet it was great back in the 60s in Liverpool , first time I ever went was the early 80s. Loved it ever since 👌
It's an interesting video seeing what yesteryear was really like. Where did you get all the material from? What format / camera would they have used? Will there be any more?
Alright, I Left in 1972. Our what they call a form teacher was mr ratty😁🍻.Kids in my class my mate, Keith Mulholland, Peter Jones, Tony woods, Neil fairclough ,Tony Evans. And the first Love of my life 😘 Susan Naylor. 😘 always think about Susan.
Why did he not show up.
The sounds dubbed There’s no kids to be heard playin or we wudda heard the passing traffic Plus the sirens we can hear were not used by fire or police till the early 90’s
Sixties Liverpool looks like 2022 liverpool
Brilliant. Will show Charl as soon as he is a bit better. Thanks XXXX
I was mad about Terry B.x
There is an overall sweetness to this. Love it. Some six years later, they made a powerful anti racist anthem "Man Without a Face" that I'm sure raised eyebrows in 1968.
